Approval of the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 Academic Calendars
During their Dec. 9 meeting, the SBISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the academic calendars for the next two school years. Both school years will start in mid-August and end before Memorial Day.
*Grading periods, elementary parent conference days and teacher work days for 2023-2024 will be added later this spring.
Thank you to the SBISD District Improvement Team (DIT) comprised of teachers, administrators, parents, students and community members for their months of work on the calendar development process.
SBISD would also like to thank the thousands of staff and parents who participated in the calendar survey this year.
