Principal's Message

Dear Spring Shadows Elementary Community,

It is an honor to serve as the next principal of Spring Shadows Elementary, and I am eager to meet you in person! It is a privilege to join an amazing team and to shape the future for every child at Spring Shadows.

I began my teaching career more than thirty years ago in Guatemala City, Guatemala. I served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and curriculum coordinator before embracing my first opportunity to serve as an elementary school principal seventeen years ago. Throughout my service as a principal, I have been inspired by the individual stories that make up the fabric, culture and traditions in a school. I look forward to hearing your stories and learning about the traditions of Spring Shadows.

One of my priorities will be to meet with staff, parents, students, and community members to hear the hopes and dreams you have for the campus and to set a course of action that will ensure the success of every student. I am committed to developing a shared vision that supports a collective commitment to positive outcomes for students. I pledge my unwavering support to the staff - great schools begin with great teachers. Our individual efforts will ensure that the students we are privileged to serve receive instruction in safe, joyful, and challenging classrooms.

These are unprecedented days as we strive to ensure that students and families are supported during a pandemic. I am hopeful that you and yours are safe and healthy. Please continue to support one another and the students of Spring Shadows.
Excited to begin a new journey with the Spring Shadows community!

Sincerely,
Raymond Stubblefield
