The Second Grade Team is comprised of six members dedicated to the success of every student. The Language needs of all students are met through the implementations of ESL and bilingual strategies by the teachers. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences allow us to work as a team to help our students.
Across the grade level, our goal is to help our students become confident passionate lifelong learners in the academic realm as well as in social settings. We intend to achieve this by creating a literacy rich environment. Integrating reading and writing throughout the curriculum allows us to give the students more exposure and opportunities to practice their skills. Math, science, social studies, and technology are also covered on a daily basis to ensure a well-rounded education for our students.
